Carmen Vocal Studio Site: This is the site of my beloved Maria. I was accepted as a student in her vocal studio when i was in my early teens and living in Kamloops, BC. I have known her most of my life, and she is like a second mother to me. She truly loves music, is loyal and dedicated-not only to music, but to her students!! A former opera diva herself, Maria is not just a teacher, she is also an artist. I love her very much, and credit her with teaching me how to use my vocals, how to breathe, how to project. I was blessed with a natural ability to sing and a good vocal range. Maria basically trained and assisted me with strengthening my vocal chords, and developing my breathing support system. Almost like my voice was the gymnast and Maria was the coach/trainer. She whipped my vocals into shape, showed me how to release my voice and I have adhered to her teachings throughout my entire musical career!!
Maria is an excellent vocal teacher. She is one of a kind, and i believe there is no other like her in the world!! If you are able to train with her, then you are truly blessed. You will hear the difference in your voice!!
