Fara's Yahoo FAN group
I set this one up with the intention for it to act as a host fanclub group. It's an experiment, so we'll see if it works. If you are interested, check it out and let me know. Is it easier, funner, etc. to contact me here or as a fara music lover, is the yahoo group better?
artistopia
Cool site, similar to that of a website and EPK all in one. Has online radio broadcasting and when you go view my page, you can make requests for my music. They track how many times my songs were played, and all sorts of cool stuff. It's worth checking out, and it's so new to me that I can't even tell you all it has to offer me and you(as a browser/fan). HOOK ME UP and start requesting to hear me!!!!!!! HAHA. Peace.
Kym Gouchie's photobucket site
Recently Kim and I both played Komasket Park for Abo day. She took some photo's, and this link directs you to a pic of me 'n' kym.
My brothers memorial website
My brother was an unconditional soul. He exuded warmth, had a unique mega-watt smile, and loved all of his friends and family with 100% devotion and loyalty. His life was ended tragically and viciously on a cold winter nite on December 31st/2002. My family created a website to honour his life and to remember him. This site has a slideshow of photos of skooks, so you can see how handsome he was. I have included a song on the new album called "My Brother" which is dedicated to him. If you have the time, take a listen to it.
For all those who are also missing a loved one who has passed away, i extend to you my sorrow for your loss and pray for your hearts to mend.
With love and appreciation,
Fara Palmer
Gabriel Palmer (Ignace) Memorial Scholarship Fund
I dedicate this album in loving memory of my brother Gabriel (Ignace) Palmer, better known as “Skooks” to all those who knew and loved him. I pray that you are in the spirit world laughing, smiling, and hanging out with all of our ancestors and loved ones. Thank you for choosing to be born into this world through our mother and father, MaryAnn Palmer and Ronald Ignace, and for sharing your life with our family.
The senseless murder of our beloved Skooks devastated our family, friends, and community. Throughout Gabriel's life, he struggled against a learning disability, but he persevered with his studies and graduated in June 2000, setting an example for all who must cope with hardship. To honour his life and his lifegoals, my mother/father/and stepmother founded The Gabriel Palmer (Ignace) Memorial Scholarship Fund (FP(I)MSF). The intent of this fund is to provide scholarships/bursuries to Kamloops and area First Nations students for post-secondary education. Please join us in our effort to assist First Nations students who are committed to pursuing post secondary education by making a contribution to:
